Description of Online Test

MCQS(JAVA And OOPS Concepts) 2 Basic Coding Questions (The only twist in the question was the input was coming in a flow and you have to take the input till the last number like while(cin>>n){..} ).

Description of Technical interview

Technical round 1 (30-35 mins) : 1. Introduction 2. OOPS concepts completely 3. 3 Coding questions a. Check loop in linked list b. Arrays+ map questions c. Palindrome check 4. Discussion on sorting techniques and binary tree (like time complexities ,how do u approach a ques which includes sorting, which is better to use at what time. ) Technical round 2 (30-35 mins) : No DSA Introduction 1. Project discussion , questions on it and testing the project knowledge . 2. Discussing current /latest technologies like cloud computing. 3.Testing knowledge on oops concepts( basically on the properties like if u are working on a project and want to give some access to code not whole .) 4. Resume discussion (I mentioned python,java ,c++ so he asked some basic differences between them and my preferable languages etc.) Managerial Round (25-30 mins) : 1. Started with Basic introduction and personality questions. 2. What things in the past you feel proud about or you feel low about ? 3. Tell me your project experience . a. Team project or personal? b. Coordination between members and how did you manage if any person didn't work. 4. If you have to develop a software what all things you would look upon to make it more effective. 5. What do you know about Schlumberger ?

Description of HR round

HR round (5-10 min) : 1. Introduction 2. Why Schlumberger ? 3. Strengths and weaknesses ? 4. Why should we hire you? 5. Any questions for me?? Note : There was no particular sequence between rounds it can be in any order You can even get HR round at first and technical at last.

What should be the preparation strategy for an aspiring candidate?

Be consistent and practice as many questions as possible from various coding platforms.
