Description of Online Test

OT consists of 3 coding questions, first one was fairly easy based on strings, second and third were medium level questions based on trees.

Description of Technical interview

The interview began with an introduction of both, the interviewer and me. He was very polite and made me comfortable with the environment. He asked me various differences between linked lists and arrays and their uses in daily life, then asked me to code a tree based question. I gave a brute force solution at first and then I optimized it to get to the final answer. We discussed time and space complexity. Then he asked some questions based on my branch. Last question was a medium level question based on stacks.

There were some common behavioral questions.

What should be the preparation strategy for an aspiring candidate?

Basics of the branch that you are in, is also important. Even if you are preparing for software, don’t forget to pay attention to your branch.
