Firstly they asked what is our major project done. Later they asked a question about that. Next he asked me which subject I am strong in. I said Power Systems. He asked me all the questions from the topic itself.. no other questions from other topics. Some of the questions I remember are : - Types of faults and their causes and effects - Types of relays - Diff between relay, switch and circuit breaker - Diff between Circuit breaker and isolator - Diff between Grounding and Earthing - Skin effect, proximity effect, ferranti effect, corona - Corona effects and how to reduce it - What is the high voltage transmitted in the world and India - Effects of electric shock

Description of HR round

They asked our strengths, weaknesses and extra curricular activities. Later we have an extempore round of which we are given a topic and we have to speak about it for 2 min.

- Don't be nervous in the interview - Be strong And confident about what you answer - If u don't know any ans, just say no Idea or don't know.. but don't pretend like you know the answer. - Try to have some additional communication with the HR... Like asking some info about the role, company etc.
