Description of Online test:

Basically, there are 3 sections in the online test. Aptitude section is compulsory for everyone; the remaining 2 sections are analog, digital, and embedded software. We can choose any two sections we want. The analog section covers topics like OPAMPs, RC-Circuits (very important), MOSFETs, BJTs, Diode circuits and Circuit Theory questions. One should practice a lot of questions from the above topics I prefer Sedra Smith, Razavi and Gate Previous Questions for practice. Razavi lectures are also very helpful (these lectures are very important for a basic understanding of analog electronics).
In the Digital section questions are asked from topics like Counters, 8086 Microcontroller, pipeline registers, setup time, hold time, ADC & DAC, Verilog, and FSM. Some are easy but some are tricky to solve. Practice of more questions will be helpful to solve them. I prefer Bhima Shankar sir lectures from the Kreatryx channel (https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLs5_Rtf2P2r77kmBnXAe06RsI3VadeQ5s Follow this playlist) and practice previous year gate questions.

Description of Technical Interview:

I was selected only for Analog Role.
For Analog Role The interview started with a self-introduction. There are two interviewers for me they are very friendly, so told me there is no need to panic. After that one of the interviewers said that he will be starting with basic questions and by the answers he will be going to somewhat tough level. He posed a question about the RC circuit and asked about output voltage it is an easy question and then gave a some small tricky ones. They give lots of time to think so don't panic keep calm and think correctly. You have to answer the questions in intuitive way but not using formulas. He asked a question based on current mirrors with MOSFETs by connecting the output with op-amp with diode and asked the output voltage across resistor connected to o/p of diode from op-amp. And then the other interviewer asked me the questions based on conservation of charge using RC circuits. If you face some difficulties they will help you by giving some sort of hints so don't get panic. Then he asked me to design an op-amp to get required voltage output. He asked me about the schmitt trigger and how it comes and the generalized graph how it looks like etc, then asked about the offset voltage and its uses. The main and the best question in the interview which I think is like "Draw the actual integrator compared with the normal integrator which we use in prblms and what is the difference and why it is?" .The overall duration of the interview is 1hr 5 minutes almost. I will say one important thing in the interview that try question even if you don't know the answer they will see your approach not the final answer so approach is very important not answer. Don't think about the answer is correct or not it will lose your confidence to answer the next question so only the approach is important.

Description of HR Round:

NA

Preparation Strategy:

2-3 months of rigorous practice and revision is better to start. It will be more helpful to start as early as possible and revise more by practicing more problems. Consistency and revision are two important factors. I started my preparation during the summer vacation, before that I was weak in analog electronics. I didn't even know some basic concepts. I prefer Razavi's lectures and Razavi's book for concept-building and practice purposes. I have done more problems on previous year gate questions. It was more helpful to me.
