Round-1 :Online test
Round-2: Technical interview round
Round-3: HR round
Description of Online test:
The online test was conducted on hirepro platform. it was an audio and video proctored test.
Their were 4 sections 1 being mandatory which was aptitude section and the other three were optional based on the role in which you are applying, I was only applying for embedded software role so I had 40 minutes and given 10 questions which were based on operating systems and data structures concepts.
Description of Technical Interview:
The technical interview started as usual with introduction from both the sides then they jumped into testing my core knowledge . the core questions were basic just to make sure that u know a little bit of concept like they asked me what was my favorite electrical subject then asked a few questions from that . then they jumped into some other topics like machines and power electronics part I said them that I didn't knew much of the concepts and they helped me with most of the time .
then they jumped to the software part they asked me questions on operating systems like what is real time operating systems and a few more i don't currently remember then they asked me basic DSA concepts about trees and graphs just time complexity stuff and at the end they asked if I have any questions for them then I asked them a few questions like what is the work culture at TI and what as a embedded software engineer would I be dealing with at TI.
Description of HR Round:
This was a telephonic interview . The HR called me in the evening and then we had a brief introduction then she asked me a few questions on the role then a few standard HR questions . This round was short and completed within 10 minutes
Preparation Strategy:
For Embedded software role, in addition to the software knowledge you have to be thorough with a little bit of core concepts also.
Prepare Operating system concepts well as they will be asking many questions in OT as well as in interviews from that concept.
