Eligibility Criteria:

CGPA cutoff - 6 and above

Selection Procedure:

Round-1: General Aptitude Test (online).
Round-2: Online test involving technical questions.
Round-3: Technical interview (2 rounds both are online)

Description of Online test:

Online test-1: Consists Aptitude, English proficiency, and Nonverbal.
Based on the first round candidates are selected for the second round of OT.
Online test-2: From this OT, candidates were selected for technical interviews.

Description of Technical Interview:

15 candidates were shortlisted, and there were 4 interview panels. It was an online interview. Descriptive questions were asked, so I was ready with a rough book. The interviewer asked me to show the solutions. Technical interviews were mainly based on the 11th and 12th grade syllabus and related to your respective branch (basics).

𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄-𝟭:
In my first technical interview, as I am from EEE, the questions asked were mainly from maths and circuit theory.
1. Two capacitors of values 1F and 10F are connected in parallel. Initially, a 10F capacitor is charged with a voltage of V volts. Then find:
a) Steady-state voltages of two capacitors.
b) If a resistor of value R ohm is introduced in between the capacitors then what are the steady state voltages of the two capacitors? Will it be different or the same and why?
2. A water tank of height H has a hole at the bottom. Water leaks from the hole at a rate of kx L/min where x is the height of water in the tank. Then:
a) Calculate how much time will take to empty half of the tank(assume water filled up to height H initially)
b) Due to rain the inflow of the tank is y L/min.Calculate the steady-state height of the tank.
3. Let x=ASin(wt), y=BSin(wt+theta) then find locus if a) theta=0° b) theta=90°
4. Let a and b be two whole numbers then find the number of possible solutions of equation ab+1=2(a+b).
5. How do you practically measure unknown capacitance?
I have answered all the questions.

𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄-𝟮:
Within an hour, results of the 1st interview were out. 3 candidates were shortlisted for the 2nd round and I was one of them. The three interviews were held parallel. Questions asked were:
1. A constant power source of 5 watts is connected across a resistance of value 1.8 ohms. Find the current and voltage across the resistor.
2.Find the time period of the function f(t)=Sin(at)+Sin(t).
3. A black box consisting of basic electrical circuit elements inside it, is being tested by connecting across various resistors. The voltmeter readings and ammeter readings were taken for two resistors as follows:
i. for 2 ohm resistor voltmeter reading = 3 volts, ammeter reading = 1.5 amps.
ii. for 8-ohm resistor voltmeter reading = 8 volts, ammeter reading = 1 amp.
Then what will be the readings of the voltmeter and ammeter when a 4-ohm resistor is connected across the black box?
4. A resistor is connected between two voltage sources V and V', where V=V0-KI^(2) volts where I is the current in the circuit and V0 is a constant. Find I if a)V'=0 volts and b)V'=V0/2 volts.
5. Question related to representing a probability density function. I was stuck, and the interviewer tried his best to explain the question and gave a hint. I wasn't able to answer it, but I tried my best to answer it.
I responded to all of them aside from the last question.
After this, I asked questions related to the company and work experience. Finally, I got selected.

Description of HR Round:

Preparation Strategy:

Stay calm and avoid panicking. Ask for a hint if you get stuck on any question during an interview.

Resources:

11th and 12th subjects(maths and topics related to your core branch) and basic subjects of your branch.
