Description of Online test:

Online Test has two parts:
1. Technical
Topics : Control Systems, Circuit Theory, Simple Mechanical Systems and Transfer functions.
2. Aptitude - (Verbal, Non-verbal, Logical Reasoning)

Description of Technical Interview:

Technical Questions are based on Electronics and Machines.
Questions from Electronics are based on:
1. Circuit design with Operational Amplifier
2. Positive and Negative feedback of Op-Amps & concept of Virtual ground
3. 555 Timer as Square wave generator

Questions from Power Electronics are based on:
1. Types of Power Electronic Converters and their applications
2. Explain the working of the Buck-Boost Converter

Questions from Electrical Machines are based on:
1. Speed control methods of AC Motors
2. Types of DC Motors and Characteristics

Description of HR Round:

HR Round started with an introduction from either side. They wanted to know my team working experience in projects and activities that I participated in college as they are looking for a good team player for the role. Some of the questions were based on my internship experience.

Preparation Strategy:

Good knowledge of the following subjects is necessary
1. Electrical Machines
2. Power Electronics
3. Digital and Analog Electronics

Resources:

1. Class Notes - I prefer to read my class notes before going to any other resources.
2. Youtube Lectures/Videos - NPTEL, Lesics, Lectures of Electrical Engineering, Electroboom, NESO Academy, All about Electronics, etc.
3. Textbook - I used to refer to the textbooks suggested by professors during classes
4. Friends - Having discussions with my friends helped me a lot of times in getting a better understanding of the concepts

Additional info for our viewers:

- Having ideas on basic concepts will be sufficient to answer questions in the interview.
- If stuck, explore different resources on the topics. Sometimes you might need a different way of explanation!
- You put yourself into whatever interests you, and you will get better at it if you can maintain consistency.
