Description of Technical Interview:

The interviewer first started from my resume. He asked about the courses I did. He is asked about my project. As I did a project in databases he asked "What is a database?" and "Where is the database stored?". Then he asked to show what programs i did recently. Next question is "what is IC with number 7486 IC?" Then he asked what is NAND gate and its outputs, function and uses.

Description of HR Round:

He was very approachable and comfortable while asking questions. Firstly he asked about 2 basic hardware questions then he asked about software questions. He asked me to type the code for either of the programs ``stack using queues" or "queue using stacks" and also asked me to write a program to a string question which he dictated. He asked me to give the approach to solve the program and then asked me to write code.

Preparation Strategy:

Decide on what you want to do whether software job or hardware. Practice coding more. Data structures and dynamic programming are important even if it is a hardware profile. Reflect on your mistakes and improve. Start from day 1 of 1st year. Every small step will add up to the final output whether it is intern or placement. Stay focused and motivated. Do a project during 2nd year or before 3rd year. And be confident about the topics in the project. Prior knowledge on your project is very important.
