Description of Online test:
Technical- basic knowledge from Engineering course, elementary school level Science concepts (Chemistry, Physics), miscellaneous engineering questions
Description of Technical Interview:
Questions were from every nook and corner of our Chemical Engineering course.
Important subjects are: Mass Transfer, Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Chemical Reaction Engineering.
Definitions, formulae, differences, applications and reasoning based questions related to our core concepts.
Explanation of concepts with examples was required.
Interview duration : 20-40 minutes
Description of HR Round:
Behavioral and Situational interview questions. Focus on STAR methodology (situation, task, action and result). Teamwork and leadership qualities were tested. Confidence and the way you present yourself and your responses matters.
Every interview begins with "Tell me about yourself " and ends with "Any Questions". Be mindful and give a strong optimistic response.
Preparation Strategy:
Preparation for internship after 2nd year during summer break is the best time. Be thorough with the fundamental concepts of 2nd year. Utilize the summer break extensively in revising all the topics, preparing for the HR round. Try doing a project/internship , this really adds value.
Grab every prospect for preparation. Attend any resume building workshop, mock interviews or GDs for practice.
From every experience analyze the situations and yourself, you learn from the observations, imply it to yourself then you grow and get better the next time.

Resources used while preparing for our course would suffice. ( Class Notes, prescribed books of subjects, NPTEL etc.).
Brush up on your 11th and 12th grade Physics, Chemistry for OTs.
For HR Round, deep introspection of your experiences are your resources to answer as per STAR methodology.
