Description of Technical Interview:

There was only one interview round, which lasted for 30-45 minutes. It consisted of technical and HR questions. The interviewer first asked me to talk about myself to ease me into the process. I was then asked to walk them through my resume, including a lot of follow up questions. After that, the interviewer asked me about my projects, along with detailed cross examination. I was also asked to justify why I chose this field, why I chose the company, and some more questions of the same type. I was then asked some EEE related questions, and then if I had any questions for the interviewer.

Description of HR Round:

Preparation Strategy:

Firstly, focus on learning the skills required. Then, put them to use by doing projects. Your next goal should be to clear the OT, so practice aptitude questions, preferably with a timer. Balance accuracy and speed well. Practice case study questions and guesstimates. Your next step should be to make sure that you have a great resume with lots of action words and numbers. The last step, which will either make or break your selection, is interview preparation. Search online for what kind of questions have been asked previously, and perfect those answers. Prepare for the "tell us about yourself" question because that's the first impression the interviewer will have of you. Don't bluff in your resume, but don't sell yourself short either. You've done the work, and you need to market yourself. Do some research on your interviewer and the company. An enthusiastic candidate is always more desirable. Always, always have a good question or two ready for the end of the interview. Remember that at the end of the day, it's just a conversation.
