Description of Online test:
The test contained 3 questions and overall 90 mins in duration.
Test was organized by Hire Pro .
Questions are based on graphs , Dynamic programming and arrays .
Overall difficulty is medium .
To get shortlisted all the three questions should be solved completely and most optimized codes will be given more priority than time .
Around 35 students got shortlisted for round 1.
Description of Technical Interview:
It was an offline interview .
Round 1 - He asked me to give a brief intro about me .He walked through my resume and we had discussion about my projects.Later on he asked me to write codes for few basic questions on trees, linked list , arrays ,bit magic and at the end he asked me to write a sql query .(Make sure all corner cases are taken care )
Round 2 - We had a casual conversation for the first few minutes and the interviewer was friendly and supportive. We had a detailed discussion on my projects for 20 minutes which are based on Machine learning and deep learning . Later on, the interviewer asked me a few questions on OOPS, DBMS and OS . At the end he asked me a few puzzles and few behavioural questions.
Description of HR Round:
HR round was about 15 mins.
Interviewer was friendly and initially there was a discussion about POR's . Later on she asked a few common questions like why mastercard, do you have any previous experiences etc and few behavioural questions.
Preparation Strategy:
Learn all DSA concepts and practice questions from various websites like Interview bit and Leetcode. Before the placement series starts, make sure you have a good project in your resume and try to maintain a decent CGPA as CGPA plays an important role during the shortlisting process.Along with DSA, learn CS fundamentals like OOPS ,DBMS and OS. Competitive programming is a must for clearing online tests. Get to know about the company and role before going to the interview.

Additional info for our viewers:
Don't fake in resume, keep things in your resume which you are confident of.Be consistent and form a group of 3 to 4 students and start coding .Try to participate in weekly and biweekly contest in leetcode every weekend and after the exam have a discussion about the questions with your friends so that you can know different approach. If you get stuck in a problem ,try to use hints before jumping into the solution and maintain good notes .In this journey ,there will be times where you may feel demotivated but remember "Good things take time and effort ..Never lose hope" ,try to seek help from your friends and vice versa.
